FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New Des Moines business creates an evening “written in the stars”
What began as an idea in Torey Maerz’ head during Des Moines’ first Startup Weekend has turned into one of the newest and most exciting ways to spend time with your sweetheart.
It’s called SparkNight – and the idea is simple: They put spontaneity into a relationship by sending people on surprise dates based on their interests. Whether you’re a guy looking to impress that special someone, or a girl who’s tired of the same old dinner and a movie, they’ll design the perfect evening for you. Your night will be created from start to finish – reservations, transportation and even childcare – so you can sit back and enjoy.
Here’s how it works: One of the SparkNight staff will spend 10-15 minutes getting to know you over the phone or through email, whichever you prefer. They’ll learn your likes and dislikes, favorite activities, favorite foods and more. Then, they’ll use your information and availability to design a date uniquely for you.
SparkNight is a big supporter of Des Moines businesses and they try to keep it local when possible. Recent Des Moines hot spots include Lucca, The Grand Piano Bistro and Miyabi 9.
Couples interested in having their own “SparkNight” are encouraged to sign-up quickly because the service is only offered to the first 200 couples in Des Moines. Why?
“Our goal is to make it all about you – we want to be sure we create the perfect date. It’s important we work with only a certain number of couples so we can create a unique and exciting experience for everyone,” says Shelly Leonard, Spontaneity Creator.
