You’ll usually find Shelly at one of three places: running around her neighborhood’s trails, searching for the newest veggie dishes (A girl from Iowa who doesn’t eat meat?!), or drinking lots of coffee and spending time with the peeps at Conjunctured – the city’s coolest coworking space. Shelly has a soft spot in her heart for a P. Terry’s veggie burger and can’t wait for the summer so she can spend her days on the shores of Town Lake.

After spending her college days at Iowa State, Lacey moved to Des Moines in 2007. When she’s not planning dates or tweeting something sassy, Lacey enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, doing hot yoga, sipping wine and checking out the latest Des Moines hot spots. She’s also a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady and enjoys an occasional night home with her kitty. In the summer you’ll find her taking long walks on the beach (Gray’s Lake, that is) or waiting in line for a yummy breakfast burrito at the downtown Farmer’s Market.
